Re: "Now that we're closing in on the beginning of a new week, I'm wondering if AMD will close out the week in the $80's, 90's or $100'S...as we close in on what will undoubtedly be once again record breaking Q2 revenues and earnings...Still thinking that year over year, in Y2000 AMD revenues will increase by close to 100% to over $5 billion and that eps will eclipse $7.00 and possibly break the $10.00 eps barrier, of course on a pre-split basis...(just remember, you guys didn't think 2 successive positive quarters were in the cards, let alone what now can be readily projected to be, come Decmber 31, 2000, 5 successive record breaking quarters for AMD and the possibility that AMD earnings will not only be greater than Intel's, something just 8 months ago you guys considered impossible, but in fact may come in at 2 or, can you believe it, 3 times the eps of Intel in Y2000)...And to think that one one has a choice of picking up AMD shares at $82 or Intel at $140...Some choice, eh Paulie??? If you had your choice, Paulie, which would you buy, assuming you are cashing in on December 31, 2000??? |
