Brown ... -- Qualcomm benefits the same in terms of royalties regardless of which version of mobile CDMA an operator chooses to deploy (CDMA, WCDMA, etc). A number of vendors including Samsung, LGIC, Hyundai, Ericsson, Nortel, Lucent, Philips and Hitachi have already signed licenses for CDMA2000 and WCDMA with Qualcomm paying the same royalty rate regardless of standard.
