Mr. Aloha, but the other result also happens. I was holding a nice gain in Quiggly a few years back and some hypsters shorting the stock (only motive I can figure, or else competiton) were sending out lies on fax all over the country about the company by using a look alike of their letter head.

I don't pay much attention to hyping or bashing, but it is a factor that goes into the longevity of a stock. I think there has been more manipulation (short and long) on the internet than anytime previously. Wall street seems to live off lies (they prefer term rumors or rhetoric), but they are out and out lies for personal gain. How about the car wreck a while back that Greenspan was supposed to be in. I hear occasional rumor about possible acquisition for bull side but most of the rumors seem to be negative. At least that is my observation.

I certainly agree with the warning from the tv program.
