It appears to me that the possibility of a strengthening market (as seen in the S&P Market Magnet trendline chart) increases the likelihood that the more significant moves on individual stocks will be coming out of compression areas seen in bases after an initial move up. ROBO is a good example of what I'm referring to.
It may be that most stocks that have not yet come off the very bottom will be less and less likely to do so from here out...being late comers to a potential party may indicate that they have not been invited.
