Ted, offhand, I'd say you're taking it all a bit too seriously. Mani has set fairly liberal guidelines, and there hasn't been any indication of him abusing those guidelines.

I am surprised...if ever there were an ideologue on this thread, it would be you. Not meant as a criticism but rather a passing comment.

In any case I take my freedoms very seriously from the smallest to the largest.

On the other hand, SI Bob has officially washed his hands here, without actually explaining why Albert deserved to be kicked off while the Athwipe guy goes on and on. From personal experience, SI's own editorial policing can be as arbitrary and heavy handed as anything, so I think you have to give Mani the benefit of the doubt.

Sorry, but no one gets my benefit of the doubt when that person is appointed by a cabal.
