Frankly, I'd rather see money spent on something like the Mounties or the Blue Angels that on this:

It's a report on Echelon, which is alleged to have the capacity to monitor every telephone call, email and fax sent in the world. I don't have a problem with using it for national security, but it's also used to give American businesses an edge in global competition. Canada seems to be part of it, too.
