There are many more pricey restaurants in NY. The one I am referring to I heard about on CBS radio last week. I cannot recall the name, I'm sorry, but if I do remember it I'll post it to you.

In the meantime, here are some restaurants in Chicago that are well over $100 per person for just the entrees:

Everest
440 S. LaSalle St.
Chicago, IL 60605
312-663-8920
Cuisine: French
Meals: Dinner
Price: $$$$$

One of a few four-star restaurants in the Chicago area, this room with a view (it's on the 40th floor) is spectacular in every way. The French/Alasatian cuisine of chef Jean Joho is beyond reproach. Service is excellent; the room is pleasing. Top drawer.
-------------
Le Francais
269 S. Milwaukee Ave.
Wheeling, IL 60090
847-541-7470
Cuisine: French
Meals: Dinner
Price: $$$$$

Little question that this four-star jewel sets the pace for fine dining in the Chicago area. The creations are nothing less than magnificent, the service nothing less than
impeccable. World-class wine list. A dining experience that should be experienced.
