DEATH OF EDWARDA
I am deeply saddened by the death of Edwarda. I have been out of the Country for some time and it was a shock to me
to learn that she was so very ill. I have been back in the
the USA for only a few days and even though I did not know her well, her death had a very deep impact on me, possibly because I admired her for her honesty in revealing her personal life and being reviled for having done so. I also
remember using the "judge not lest ye' be judged" on the issue. The TRIBUTE TO EDWARDA is so very beautiful and the
choice of "Enya's song with her beautiful mystical voice
and haunting lyrics was so appropriate for Edwarda and said much about the wonder of their relationship..

I am humbled by the outpouring of compassion and love for
her by so many people and the wonderful support of JLA and her many personal friends. I applaud all of you for your outpouring love for a friend who was so very ill, and your
continuing support during her untimely death and the help
extended to her family is so heartwarming to me. It makes me realize the sincerity of many of the people who frequent the SI Coffee Shop, Somehow I believe Edwarda is out there watching and loving every minute of this very special event.

My late husband said it best "DEATH IS FOR THE LIVING" and since he was very Irish Catholic..he ask me to take the mourners from his gravesite to a local Restaurant to grieve not but "HAVE A PARTY, TO EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY" Somehow I believe that Edwarda would have wanted the same....
