It sure is funny to hear Paul crow about availability of 1.13GHz PIIIs when 1Ghz isn't even available in volumes. Intel has to first fill up the 933MHz cup and then the 1GHz cup before they can even pour some 1.13GHz processors into the market AND ramp up ANOTHER stepping. But that didn't stop them from announcing 1GHz did it? ;)

When I wrote what I did, I should have said Intel's announcement of 1.13GHz. We know AMD won't let Intel try to get a perceived edge up on them, so it is practically guaranteed AMD will come out with 1.1GHz this month rather than a potential August release. Of course, AMD will actually have available parts.
