Les, that is true but now how much are banks lending against the FED window and how much of their loans end up to be securitized?? The last one is a clean profit for the banks cash in on the spread and then service the loan no responsibility at all. IMHO income from asset management, VC and brokerage surpasses income from traditional lending. Best example CMB and C Haim
