Merrill on DRAM prices

Merrill Lynch Analyst Joe Osha said that DRAM prices have steadily climbed back to levels not seen since the beginning of the year. He said recent channel checks are pointing "to the strong likelihood of a shortage late this year." Osha added that he's heard of further news of a global DRAM shortage. As a result, he reiterated his "buy" rating on Micron Technology (MU: news, msgs). That stock is up 3/4 at 90 1/4
