I think JDSU stock will behave the way it did when the announced the ETEK deal---ie a rebound after an initial selloff. An important note is that this deal is not dilutive. This company is beginning to take the form of a Cisco or Intel--maybe more of a Cisco. I don't think we will get any more aggressive selling of the stock. If I had this stock in a mutual fund, I would not be selling--my logical would be that the company is looking down the road and are taking steps to ensure they are the dominant player---revenues and earnings will also pick up as they use this merger to increase efficiency--which would have big effects on the bottom line.
