You're in good company Ian...from Jim Morgan's interview on CNBC today:

Liz: As we see from your stock chart, your stock is up 1 1/8 at 90 and a fraction. Since you supply chip makers with equipment, how dependent are you on the semiconductor chip cycle and how far is the visibility regarding capital spending cycle?

"I think, you know, we're in the beginning, we've been in the beginning this past year, what I call three waves of technology transition in our industry, and the first wave was a move to tighter geometry, .18. The second is to move to new materials where we're the leader in copper and other types of materials and now the third wave (editorial comment by me...he's referring to 300mm), which will begin in volume in about two years from now and three years from now. We see a big demand for several years to come as a result of these technology changes since we make every chip, every day, everywhere, it's a great opportunity for us."

I hope Jon Joseph (SSBaloney analyst) is paying attention to the bold comment above!
