Robert, Larry was quoting SSB. Joseph stated clearly that according to "historical norms", the peak year in chip stock prices (in a given cycle) correspond to the peak in growth of cap expenditures. Actual shipments continue to increase even when stock prices already discount the coming price pressures due to over capacity created by the huge growth in Cap-Ex during the peak growth year. We get fooled all the time, being surprised to see stock falling out of bed when they still report quarter after quarter better earnings. This is because the ,market discounts the "morning after".

Having said all this, this year is still "young" and I can "see" SNDK above $100 (I "have" $109 as a sell target) before the end of this "young" year.
