Balancing goods? Is that what you call "robbing Peter to pay Paul?" It is a violation of individual and property rights to have wealth taken from you by force, whether that force is a masked criminal pointing a gun at you in a deserted alleyway, or a gaggle of socialist geese who shuffle papers around and create the illusion, swallowed by many, that it is all "lawful."

I say needs do NOT eclipse inalienable rights, nor does social security, medicare, medicaid, etc. have a lien on men and women in a free society. We do not live in a free society -- anymore. You see, in a truly free country individuals enjoy objective laws that protect their rights. Many of our "laws" do not protect our inalienable rights anymore, instead they subvert them to the needs of one group versus another.
