Bill:

On this issue, all will come into focus on or before July 19th, imho...IBM is impressed with the Athlon and its derivatives and the, as yet, untapped potential of the Athlon for the workplace segment and server niche...I suspect it will be 2 to 4 weeks of nothing but positive AMD announcements...When measured within the context of where Athy was one year ago (pre-productoion, it's hard to believe), AMD has so far exceeded all reasonable expectations in bringing to market the Athy lineup of products...If this exceedingly favourable trend of execution were to continue through the next 12 months (and my guess is that it will), AMD will gain major inroads into the workplace and server markets, not only via IBM, but probably almost every other major company in the world...With such enormous future potential prospects and the stellar track record of execution achieved over the past 12 months, AMD's current valuation at $85 per share is most unreasonably low...ridiculously so!
