Not only that, but a breakup fee to be paid by SDLI to JDSU in the event of a miss on this deal is not the kind of chump change you roll the dice on and say "what the heck, let's give it a try". It's a big bet with a big contingency fee, so to speak. These guys think they can pull it off. I like Don on the team very much. Although very soft-spoken (at least on TV) I think he has a much more public-friendly personna than Josef. Don't get me wrong.......everyone loves the beret, but some people are better at Marketing and Sales and some are better and Engineering, and some are good at both. Don is more like Kevin than Josef is, and Kevin was GOOD. Steve
