Exactly - by perfectly ordinary people individually coming to realisations ... it is the only peaceful way and the only way that can work.

Every threat from outside serves only to perpetuate the regime, as it solidifies wide support behind the government ... this is a nation of patriots, as most are ... the cubano i know the best would defend his country if it was attacked, and that would include any sort of attack by the Miami ex-cubanos ... yet years ago he was ready for a liberalisation of the politics ... he's a smart and funny guy, likes to have a beer late at night and speak his mind, he'd like to speak it at home too.

Every single little ridiculous belligerency by the US or US-based ex-cubanos just props up Fidel - the continued blockade, the travel restrictions, the hostile statements out of the DeLay/Burton/Mas Santos crowd and their control of US foreign policy ... the attempted theft of a child of a cubano, that was just a capper ... those people claim to oppose Castro, but they are supporting him .. how stupid.
