To everyone: I have read the Parousia and Preterism information. I would not consider myself an expert but I did not find anything worth further study for me. To Spiritualize the entire Kingdom of Jesus is to far out there for me. I believe Gods promises have always been real and tangible and if Jesus says that He will return in a cloud of great Glory and all will see Him I believe it personally. I do not accept the idea that he came for a few believers shortly after the resurrection. The Holy Spirit came into the world at that time as Jesus said it would to start the Church until His return in Glory. There is even a warning to not believe anyone telling you he came back at that time but says many other things must happen before His return. Then the claim that all prophecy was fulfilled from OT in 70AD does not match up with many OT promises yet unfulfilled. I am not against the truth as James implies I just do not see it in this theology. There is also a tendency to exalt a lot of Christian Fathers this is always a bad sign for me.
