- why $26 share price? I don't know, why not the recent $57? - 10K as of 1/29/00: - "we implemented staff scheduling software to improve productivity and customer service" - which is great - looks like they don't own any of the production plants - another plus - heavily computerized operations - patented American Eagle line & expansion in to other lines - all stores leased for around 10 years - which means they can walk away from unprofitable locations - stock was over $57 in 10/99 - wow - now only $13 - internet sales are up, but doesn't say by how much - 80 new stores opened in '99 - which is great for spreading overhead, advertising, & such
