Luckily, I happen to be on- line, although if I disappear suddenly, you will know that I hit the wall.....I think you are onto something. We cannot increase pay forever, quality of life issues have to be addressed. The re-up problem is a scandal, and one cannot get a lot of self- sacrifice when the stakes for the country are perceived as low. We either reinstitute the draft, which is probably not a practical option, or we review the relationship between the military and its personnel........
