Slugger...BPI is being discussed because it is found all thru Lilly's new patent about Protein C. Lilly did not mention BPI in their public release...yet in the patent Lilly stated over and over again how much more effective their Protein C was in combination with BPI. Another reason it is being discussed...Lilly jumped 20% (?) since they ended their trial with Protein C...and if BPI makes the product much better, what will happen to XOMA's price once this word gets around.
