Another software downgrade....in france this time.....

add them to CA, bmcs, compuware, ifmx... and others..... there's a growing trend here to support a negative outlook.... add a crack in chips, slowing infrastructure (if we get it) and little else.... and you have very little left to support pricing across the nasdaq for the next half year outlook........

RESEARCH ALERT-Merrill cuts Bull <BULP.PA>
LONDON, July 11 (Reuters) - Merrill Lynch said on Tuesday it
had cut its intermediate-term rating of French computer group
Bull to "accumulate" from "buy."
The bank said in a research note it was cutting the stock's
earnings per share forecast to 0.18 euro for 2000 from 0.37
euro, and its forecast for 2001 was reduced to 0.43 euro from
0.80 euro.
Bull shares were trading down more than two percent at 8.69
euro at 1233 GMT.
The note said recent profits warnings from U.S. computers
services supplier Unisys <UIS.N> and U.S. business software
maker Computer Associates <CA.N> had hinted at bad trading
conditions.
"Services are likely to struggle as trading conditions
deteriorate across the industry," it said.
