Quintus Corporation Joins Russell 3000 Index; eCRM Software Developer's Addition to Equity Index Announced
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 2000--Quintus Corporation (Nasdaq:QNTS), a provider of contact center solutions for e-customer relationship management (eCRM), today announced the addition of its common stock to this year's Russell 3000(R) Equity Index. Quintus' addition is part of an annual reconstitution, which tracks the 3,000 largest U.S. stocks as of the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization to create the Russell 3000 Index. Membership in Russell's 21 U.S. equity indexes are based upon objective measures and acts as a performance standard for investment managers.
Quintus completed its initial public offering in November 1999. For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2000, the company reported a 71% increase in net revenues to $51.7 million. As of July 10, Quintus shares closed at $23.94, giving it a market capitalization of approximately $950 million.
During the past few months, Quintus announced a worldwide reseller, marketing and technology partnership with Siebel Systems, Inc., the world's leading supplier of eBusiness application software; expansion into the Asia Pacific market in a partnership with eGlobal Technologies to market and resell Quintus products, including the eContact(TM) Suite; and a partnership with AT&T.
Russell 3000 Index, a roster of the 3,000 U.S. stocks with the highest market valuation, is rebalanced annually; memberships take effect July 1.
