I would be surprised if even 10% of SI readers shorted stocks. It is still seen as something strange/evil/magical by your average online trader. SI posting activity dropped roughly when the markets tanked and the game stopped being fun and easy for a while. The demise of Browsemaster functionality also put off some very prolific posters. And GNET's latest technical SNAFU's trying to "improve" what wasn't busted were the capper. But I'm still not desperate enough to turn to RB or Yahoo - yet.
