Nokia extends is current generation licensing agreement with QUALCOMM to include W-CDMA. The fact that there continues to be controversy about QCOM's royalty on W-CDMA equipment astounds us.


The foregoing statement in Mark Robert's report didn't get much play on this board but seems to be quite significant. This is the first public clue I have seen of Nokia's intention to license 3G from Qualcomm.
