Yes, I also thought that at times it was entertaining, particularly the display orchestrated by the tiny handful of die-hards.

In stark contrast however was the enlightening report given by William Van der Merwe in which he outlined the state of affairs of the company as of a year ago, what has been achieved since then & where they intend taking the co. from here.

Members of the past management who were also present were given the opportunity to explain away questionable issues, including the whereabouts of some 2 tonnes of high-grade material amongst other things, but chose to remain silent.

The voting results speak for themselves - so much for all the talk of no-confidence! No wonder a settlement agreement is in the works.

I also had the opportunity to speak with W. Van der Merwe in length after the AGM and appreciated his open & informed candidness. Perhaps if a few of you on this board attempted the same instead of trying to out guess each other & deliberately post misinformation we could get into an informed discussion based on real fact & not speculation.

As I hear it, Brian was told off by WvM for wasting his time & was invited to rather engage in constructive discussion, but hasn't been heard from since. Perhaps this explains his constant negativity. A woman scorned??
