I agree with this statement. When the idea was first broached, I understood that the contributions would go to the Hunger Site, which is something that many of us on SI support, and we all know for a fact that Edwarda supported. It's a sort of "two birds with one stone" contribution - the beauty of the idea that was suggested is that Edwarda would be remembered publicly in a site that would be seen by hundreds of thousands of people if we got together enough money to buy an ad. Also, it's directly connected with the Internet, which is how we all met and has transformed our lives. Internet friendship, internet charity, internet memorial, there's a consistency here that I find pleasing.
