QCOM's bottom/random musings

Qualcomm's bottom has now been defined. How do I know that? Because I sold out in my personal account. (Still have some treasured Qualcomm in my IRA to let sit for nine years.)

What amazes me about Qualcomm?

First, that 4-1 split. Everyone talks about the integrity of Dr. Jacobs. I think he should have avoided encouraging irrational momentum, especially since China was rather unclear and WCDMA's merits were so vague.

Second, it also seems to me that Qualcomm is doing absolutely nothing to prevent the depression of the stock. Why? It's like they want it down. Why?

Word on the Yahoo "Qualcomm's Rocket to the Stars" thread is that the deal with Ford has been signed.

Why no announcement?

In addition, has there ever been such an important interview with a U.S. CEO that received such limited press as the recent Bloomberg interview with IJ? NOPE!

Is this U.S. stock market mysterious or what?
