I've read that many companies that announce share buy-back programs never actually purchase any. I don't believe they are under any obligation to do so and simply use the announcement as a tool to signal to the investment community that *they* think their stock is undervalued. We'll have to ask them next Q just how many shares they purchased under this program. I'd guess few or none.

Of course I'd also have to question whether this was an appropriate use of their resources in a high-growth company such as Fore. If they're too busy watching the stock price maybe they aren't getting the job done.
