Paul Engel. Re: "Good analysis. Intel is expanding their markets into the high end while maintaining their lower end business." I agree. That's why I question the validity of Barrett's "15%-20%" growth rate announced in the Maria interview. All these initiatives would suggest a higher growth rate.

Barrett has always seemed to me to be a very straight shooter and Intel has tended to be conservative and say nothing if the future was cloudy. Thus I wonder why he would say anything if the future growth rate was uncertain, due to the new initiatives. The stock is currently priced to grow by at least 25% for the forseeable future IMHO and were all in for a heck of a tumble if the cycke turns and the company disappoints.

I am surprised that there has not been more discussion of this issue of valuation/growth rate. Has some complacency crept into the thread? What do your think?
