Tue 11 Jul 2000 News Release
Mr. Marc Henderson reports
Aquiline Resources has received preliminary assay results for diamond drill
holes 1 through 7 inclusive on its East Bull Lake palladium/platinum
exploration project near Sudbury, Ont. The East Bull Lake project covers a
strike length of approximately 1.6 kilometres of the southern contact of
the East Bull Lake layered mafic intrusive and is under option from Mustang
Minerals Ltd. and Freewest Canada Resources Inc. These results represent
the initial drill results of an intended 1,300-metre first phase drill
program following a spring program of line cutting, surface sampling, and
geophysics.

East Bull Lake Drill Results

From To Intersection Grade
Hole No. (m) (m) Pt/Pd

PDZ-1 51.8 62.2 10.4 0.78 g/t
Incl. 56.7 61.31 4.6 1.04 g/t

PDZ-2 No significant Intersections

PDZ-3 Hole terminated due to poor
ground conditions

PDZ-4 No significant Intersections

PDZ-5 No significant Intersections

PDZ-6 39.6 41.4 1.8 1.41 g/t
Incl. 40.5 41.5 1 2.07 g/t
46.9 48.4 1.5 1.34 g/t
61.9 69.2 7.3 0.76 g/t
76.5 84.7 8.2 0.61 g/t

PDZ-7 130.1 136.5 6.4 0.77 g/t
Platinum group elements (PGE) mineralization intersected in PDZ-1, 6 and 7
-- which cover approximately 200 metres of prospective strike length --
appears to be terminated at depth by the well-documented Parisien
deformation zone (fault). All three holes were collared north of the fault
within an anorthositic unit considered part of the lower series of the
stratigraphic sequence of mafic rocks that make up the East Bull Lake
layered intrusive.
Drill holes PDZ-2, PDZ-3 and PDZ-4 were collared south of the deformation
zone in an area where surface sampling returned promising geochemical
results but intersected diabase and granitic rocks that are not part of the
East Bull Lake intrusive sequence. These results have led to a geological
reinterpretation of the area and discounted the possibility of intersecting
the PGE-bearing intrusive contact south of the fault zone. All exploration
efforts are now focused on the northern part of the property.
Drilling is continuing with the drill now targeting contact areas which may
host massive sulphide mineralization similar to that found within the
Parisien deformation zone that have to date returned assay grades of up to
11.2 grams per tonne PGEs. Hole 8 has been completed below hole 1 on line
2+00 east and the drill will now move 600 metres to east to drill a series
of holes on line 8+00 east where IP surveying indicated a strong
chargeability anomaly. Further assay results will be reported when
available.
Work continues on the company's River Valley properties. Field crews have
now completed all of the infill lines necessary to complete the IP survey
on the Mustang joint venture claim block and will be moving to the Dana
North block to expand the scope of the existing survey there. A report on
the progress of exploration at River Valley will be forthcoming within a
few weeks time.
