One, I promise, single comment on Memorial. With several components:

Consideration: Inertia refers to the force required to get a stopped thing into motion - or a moving thing stopped. That thought relates strongly to this present situation.

1. Logistics will kill anything even slightly complicated.

2. Absence of 'money where your mouth is' compliance will kill anything requiring huge, or continued, financial transactions.

3. She absolutely loved the theater group. I know that fully. But, what real function would such a Memorial connection fulfill?

4. The Pray for Edwarda thread gathered unbelievable motion. It attracted several 'troubled' strangers, who came there for peace. It costs nothing. It requires no energy, continued effort, or logistical delicacy.

If an arrangement could be made with SI to somehow Highlight that thread, it could serve as a haven and a beacon for folks in trouble, sickness, death, sadness, loss...

Pray for Edwarda could, with a note added to the introductory post, serve as a cyber 'place to come, when in need.' And all the Edwarda posts could serve as a comfortable environment for seekers to sink into when the deep emotions, love, humor, trust of humanity features of our existences could be helpful.

I believe following such an Edwarda Memorial, open to the SI public, would be the most simple and most meaningful way to perpetuate love and respect. It would be able to take on a life of its own, requiring neither money nor effort - which, I hope you will honestly admit, are not in big supply even among the loveliest of us.

ps: I have considered the elegy with multimedia accompaniment - and, sadly, feel they would gather dust.
