I used those traps for several years and filled MANY bags with the beetles, but read (and heard from garden talk shows) that I was just attracting them from all over. Now use seven (sevin) on the roses and wish I'd done that years ago.

Anyone know what's with my privet hedge. I'm in northern Va, lots of rain, but leaves turn light green/white and drop off. Don't think it's from too much rain--but not sure.
