Wasn't this the same guy whose emotional arguments didn't get in the way of his poor grasp of the facts the last time around? LOL. And you take his obviously sophomoric views seriously??? Again, no wonder you're losing more than $10 million on your stubborn QCOM position.

The sooner you come to grips with the implications of this major QCOM concession, the better off you will be.

From the 10K:

As part of the Agreements, QUALCOMM and Ericsson each committed to the ITU and to other standards bodies to license their essential patents for the single CDMA standard or any of its modes to the rest of the industry on a fair and reasonable basis free from unfair discrimination. On the Closing Date, each of the companies notified the ITU and other relevant standards bodies that ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS BLOCKING PREVIOUSLY IN FORCE HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN

But knowing you, you're content to absorb the drubbing the market is administering to you (since you take your stock so personally) because.....Ericsson capitulated to QCOM when it paid $128 million ($50m under protest!) for QCOM's infrastructure division and $400 million in QCOM vendor financing.

I can see now how this can be such a delightful phyrric victory for the truant child trapped inside your 48 year old body residing in beautiful Orange County.

No credible legal leverage. No relevant TDMA/GSM patents. And a garden variety fabless chip business competing against world-class chip manufacturers with cutting-edge process geometries and bleeding edge analog-digital integration skills. If you only knew what's coming your way.......
