Niceguy, you'd 'panic' too, if you'd been the one speaking to the Gateway rep. I provided the sales rep's extension #. Call yourself. Call a different rep. "AMD and Gateway said blah last week," was good enough for me, too, until I read the Yahoo post-- after getting in an argument with the guy, accusing him of spreading FUD, I thought, fine, I'll call GTW again and put this to rest. And then I heard the same stuff out of GTW that this guy had. Either we're not being told something, or Gateway has a big problem with some of their sales reps and technical guys. You'll recall that when this issue first broke, I spent a lot of time getting to what I thought was the bottom of it. Doug
