SLAB - earnings next Monday should be solid, up over 30% in 3 days on moderate volume (float is very small post IPO, lock-up expires in 68 days), institutions are getting in where they can, mostly small trades of ~100 shares. Big momentum right now heading into earnings, was added to Russell 1000 yesterday, not widely know about yet - due mostly to low float/liquidity. Could be a mover this week and next IMO.

Current Price = $68 (I go in at ~$57 a couple weeks ago)
Low 4 days ago = $50
52WH = $105
$3.2 billion cap
Float = 3.2 million
Lock-up shares = 44 million (almost all by company officers)
PE = 250
EPS = .25
Last Q = 0.08 (first after IPO, no estimate)
Estimate this Q = 0.09
Projected growth = 64%
Short Ratio = .28

Silicon Laboratories designs and develops proprietary, analog-intensive, mixed-signal integrated circuits, or ICs, for the rapidly growing communications industry. For the three months ended 4/1/00, revenues totaled $19.7 million, up from $6.3 million. Net income totaled $3 million, up from $1.1 million. Revenues reflect strong acceptance of the DAA family of products, including int'l DAA and MC-97 DAA products. Earnings reflect increased gross margins due to higher sales volumes. The Company is organized into two principal divisions: the Wireline Products Division and the Wireless Products Division.

Could have alot of momentum left IMO.
