Qualcomm CEO Sees Market for Company's Chips Rising; Shares Up By Maxine Clayton San Diego, July 12 (Bloomberg) -- Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) rose 5 15/16, or 11.2 percent, to 58 15/16 and traded as high as 59 1/16. Chairman and Chief Executive Irwin Jacobs said the market for the company's semiconductors used in cellular phones will expand as Korea and other countries build more advanced wireless networks.
