Dear willcousa: I can tell you I wish someone had allowed ME to invest at least a portion of my SS funds in MY OWN ACCOUNT when I was young. I have always paid the maximum from the very beginning and am still subject to the whims of congress as to whether I will even get my own damn money back. JDN
