JULY 12, 2000 COMMONWEALTH E-MAIL LIST UPDATE We received notice this morning from the FRAC Company that a FRACCING Unit will be on location and servicing the BEDSOLE #1 well on July 26 or July 27. We are to receive confirmation as to which of the two dates shortly and will then do a News Release. This is welcome news to us as it has been difficult to get this equipment. Two of the larger service rig companies shut down two years ago when oil prices were at $10.00 and gas prices around $1.50 / MCF. Therefore, supply has been unable to keep up with the surging demand for this type of equipment due to the recent rise in the price of Natural Gas. Natural Gas prices this morning as quoted on the New York Mercantile Exchange are $4.33 US / MCF. The FRAC treatment is expected to take one day to complete. Once the FRAC is completed, the well will be flow tested and put on production. The flow test is a 24-hour test and then it should take us 5-10 days to hook the well up to the Gas Pipeline.
