About a year or so ago, I was killing some time in a bookstore and came across a book where the authors upgraded various PCs with stuff the average guy would do. Interesting thing was that some things they did looked great in theory but performed miserably in practice. The book explained what was happening to deliver the results. Unfortunately, I didn't get the book, or remember what it's called, but it looked like money well spent for those on the upgrade treadmill. Warning: The treatment was quite technical and difficult to follow unless one has had some exposure to the concepts being explained. Anyway, thank-you for posting your results. Others can learn what works and what doesn't when people share what they're doing. Cheers, PW.
