Why isn't Cube moving up? If you didn't know C-Cube's story, and heard a little about it, you might want to buy. You look up the earnings expectations, and find $.09 this Q, $.49 for 2000, and $.59 2001. Not much growth. Now it doesn't sound as good, but your still interested in buying a leader in digital video, so you check the industry for news.

You heard that VisionTech won ReplayTV. Now you read that VisionTech wins a digital videodistribution & surveillance system..............................................

You thought C-Cube had a single chip codec thingy that was the best stuff out there. Now you just see the competition winning.

OK, they will still grow in settops. You know STM owns the settops today, but C-Cube's better. Then you see that a company called Sigma wins a box from Fujitsu Siemens Computers...........................

You read about class actions.

Your starting to feel less warm and fuzzy about CUBE.
Now think that you will put CUBE on your watch list. It's too early to buy, too much uncertainty.

So CUBE looses the new potential investor.

CUBE has had a history of August and September rallies. Their last 1/2 the year is always the strongest. I expect that again this year.
