Agreed. I was pointing out that the inclusion of religious material in education automatically creates controversy even among the experts in the field. In contrast, scientific material is always subject to external review. Controversy is essential, but can be resolved among experts. IMO, it doesn't matter how much one prays and reads, one cannot convince anyone else about religion. In contrast, scientific research solves problems, usually creating new problems along the way. IMO religion is purely subjective. Science can be made objective. I do not assert that all scientists are objective. History is full of delays in correcting scientific mistakes that last for thousands of years. Aristotle said that dogs had no muscles in their front legs and women had fewer teeth than men. No scientists believe that any more. The Bible provides data that show pi is 3. If Christians or Jews were interested in truth they would correct that section.
