The word 'reparations' is loaded with connotation that is not particularly helpful, and doesn't apply to most players in the situation imho ... i didn't see the newspaper article, and like i say i'm not particularly informed on this ... 'reparations' means paying for a sin of commission, as i see it, and the sins of most players here were of omission and general stupidity ... the word may well apply to the french, though. PBS has a piece on Rwanda - pbs.org .. they have another as well, in it there is an excerpt from a book by a Philip somebody ... can't find it in a hurry, and have to go now ... cheers
