Jmo, but if you can't make sense of cmrc look at epiphany epny or webmethods webm or bea beas.

I think we all know that these stocks get runup at least partially on supply and demand and the restructuring of cmrc with the additional float really changed the dynamics of the stock. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but yahoo says shares outstanding are 155mm and float is 121mm. The float is the same as the outstanding shares practically, and a pretty high number. Ariba has the same float but much more shares outstanding.
