google.com After using AltaVista heavily for more than 4 years, I am switching to Google.com. I feel AltaVista has diversified too much. They have a little bit of everything, but just exactly what is that? AltaVista may disappear altogether as some point if they don't get their act straight and get some IPO money. Let's face it -- they missed the great build out through mergers during 1997 and 1998. 100hot.com Google.com is at #78 AltaVista (+compag and tandem) is at #5 Let's see how this changes over the next year.
