Jim; I think putting a 16 year old in jail if found possessing illegal drugs is appropriate......Isn't one of the tenets of the LP individual responsibility?? Confiscating the car is another issue...I say again..all, including the hypothetical 16 year old, should receive all the protection of the Constitution. As for my plan.....why are unjust laws not challenged successfully?? Why have not these laws been fought to the Supreme Court? If there is a fund established to pursue the rectification of these unjust laws, I will contribute. I don't see the connection between correcting unjust laws, and making the leap to legalizing drugs.....lets correct the laws so that all have full protection of the Constitution.......when all are justly treated by the law, then let everyone also bear individual responsibility to live with the consequences of their actions. For those who choose to act in some way with illegal drugs..simply bear the consequences of their action. Regards, Bud
