Robert B, thanks for the PM invite. Thought this thread was dead but maybe still "officially" alive, kinda like A Flock of Seagulls is still supposedly a going concern. :-)

Cheesy 80s movies huh? I'll try...look ma, no online movie guide searches !

BTW here one I can't remember the title to - movie about a new year's eve rock and roll show at a classic rock club that greedy developers want to tear down - can you remember it??

A Adventures in Babysitting (Liz Shue is hottttt even with an 80's do.)
A is alredy covered, but About Last Night deserves mention - probably the high water mark of Demi Moore's career (Striptease? GI Jane??) and for that matter Jim Belushi's too
B=Blue City (Lame. I can't think of a likeable film that starred Judd Nelson. Ally Sheedy certainly didn't help either).
B=Better off Dead (cheesy John Cusack film, not dark by any means as the title suggested)
B=How could I forget Bad Boys?
C
D
E
F=Fast Times at Ridgemont High (one of the best cheesy 80s teen flicks)
G=Goin' All the Way (Is this cheesy enough? LOL)
H=Hair Spray (Set in the 50's maybe does not qualify...who was it who directed those movies which always featured Divine??)
I=I'm With the Band (Now I remember reading ABOUT this film in Rolling Stone, based on the autobiography by that groupie gal [name?] from the 60's...did it ever get released? Starred Ally Sheedy (Hmmm, maybe I just answered my own question :-)
J
K
L=Last American Virgin, The (dumb plot, lame acting, soooo 80s :-)
L=Light of Day (for some reason Joan Jett got great reviews for her role in this lame flick with Michael J. Fox.)
M=Manniquin (was Kim Katrall the manniquin? If so I bet this has seen an uptick in rentals thanks to Sex & the City)
M=Meatballs (first one with Bill Murray) was fun too...Chris Makepeace was always typecast as the wimp kid, remember My Bodyguard?
N
O=One Crazy Summer - starring John Cusack, Demi Moore?, Bobcat Goldthwait, the embattled father/teacher in the Twisted Sister videos
P=Pretty in Pink (very cheesy ending)
P with extra cheese=Porky's
Q
R=Revenge of the Nerds - awesome! We ARE the champions!!
R=Rumble Fish - saw it once, thought it 'way cool'
S=St Elmos Fire (the brat pack...<rolf>) TOO EASY-more:
S=Sixteen Candles (one of the better cheesy 80s teen flicks, Molly's best IMO)
S=Spring Break (ah the good old days when Ft. Lauterdale was awash in alcohol and wet t-shirts :-)
S=Satisfaction. Justine Bateman of Family Ties fame was the leader of a girl group. I remember how she sang (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction through her nose. Maybe she and nancy Kerrigan should hook up - LOL)
T
U
V=Valley Girl (Nick Cage's BEST movie ever!-chuckle)
W=Wisdom - Who was the brat pack star of this film, who stole from the banks and gave to the poor farmers? Anyway a review called it "so bad you'll cheer for the Feds." Agree.
W=Does Wall Street count?? Certainly a period piece, and a very good one too.
X
Y
Z Zapped (why again was this Scott Baio's only shot at the big screen?)
Wasn't that enough? :-)
