I was reading about June 20-21 auction results for SS Central America gold, found some items that may interest you; A 4.95oz .795 fine Blake and Company bar went for $39,600, over $8000/ounce. The largest bar, a 663.6oz .893 fine Kellogg and Humbert went for $308,000 (about $460/ounce) The 99 1857S $20 coins went from $3300 to $24,200. I don't think we need to worry about these getting melted an dumped on the market ;)
