I disagree. In the 1930s people were told what to think and how to think, just as they are today. And they did. Don't forget, they supported one of the most fascist people in America at that time. A man who stomped on the Constitution even as he claimed he was protecting it: J. Edgar Hoover.

Roosevelt proposed and acted upon dictatorial policies. His use of Executive Orders was dictatorial. His government programs and policies were most definitely dictatorial. Was he a Hitler or Mussolini? Of course not. But dictators come in many shapes and forms.

He was an evil man and and evil president. Perhaps the worst president the USA has ever suffered.
